Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Williams, of Anne Arundel, Moses and Williams, of Har-
ford.

Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 146 D, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, as en-
acted by the Act of 1898, chapter 501."
Endorsed: "Road the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
County Commissioners of Cecil county, to erect and main-
taih boards so painted and marked with letters and
figures as to indicate the direction of and distance to the
nearest town, city, village, postoffice or other places of
importance at the road intersections in said county."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Crothers, Williams, of Anne Arundel, and Bouic.

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and empower
the Burgess and Commissioners of Williamsport, in
Washington county, to redeem each and all of the bonds
issued by them under the provisions of chapter 27, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
its January session A. P. 1898, and to issue new bonds in
lieu thereof."
