Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day, for
Wednesday, February 14th, at 1 P. M.

On motion af Mr. Beasman,

The Senate adjourned.





WEDNESDAY, Feb. 14th, 1900

The Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Winstead.

Present at roll-call, the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts,
Brewington, Bryan, Crqthers, Dennis, Dick, Dodson,
Gray, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter,
Putzel, Ravenscroft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of
Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—23.

The Journal of Tuesday was read and approved.


PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
The President presented a protest from S. Milnor Wil-
bur and 14 others, against any change in the present
Sunday laws.
Also,
A protest from Alex. Bateman and 64 others, against
any change in the present Sunday laws.

Also,
A protest from Rev. Osborn Belt and 57 others, against
any change in the Sunday law.

Also,
A protest from Rev. Douglass Hooff and 45 others
against any change in the present Sunday law.
