Senate bill No, 34, entitled "An Act to repeal chapter
501, of the Acts of 1898, repeal section 146 D, of Article
81, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
‘Revenue and Taxes,' and re-enacting said section 146 D,
and to re-enact said chapter 501, of the Acts of 1898, with
amendments."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out all of "Section 2."
Which proposed amendment was adopted; and
The bill was read the second time.
On motion of Mr. Bouic,
Said bill was re-committed to the Committee on Ju-
dicial Proceedings.
Mr. Bouic, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, with proposed amendments,
Senate bill No. 66, entitled "An Act to add an addi-
tional, section to Article 37, section 21 of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled ‘Crimes and Punishment,'
to be known as ‘Section 21 A, of said Article.'"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In the caption of the bill strike out "3” and insert "2."
After said caption insert the following:
"Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That an additional section be added to Article
27, section 21, of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled ‘Crimes and Punishments,' to be known as ‘Section
21 A,' to read as follows."
Amend printed bill by striking out the words ‘Section
1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
that," and inserting before the word "any," "21 A."
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted.
