The Senate went into Executive session.
At 1.55 P. M.

On motion of Mr. Moses,

The Senate resumed Legislative business


At 1.56 P. M.

On motion of Mr. Bryan,

The Senate adjourned.


WEDNESDAY, Feb. 7, 1900.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Winstead.

Present at roll call the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Betts, Bouic,
Brewington, Bryan, Crothers, Dennis, Dick, Dodson,
Gray, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Putzel,
Ravenscroft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of Har-
ford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—23.

The Journal of Tuesday's session was read and ap-
proved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Putzel presented a petition from public school
teachers, for the passage of the bill providing for the
publication of geographical and physical maps of the
State of Maryland.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.
