1900.] OF THE SENATE. 223 At 9.03 P. M., On motion of Mr. Moses, The Senate resumed Legislative business. At 9.05 P. M., On motion of Mr. Moses, The Senate adjourned. TUESDAY, Feb. 6, 1900. The Senate met at 12 M. Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Winstead. Present at the roll call the following Senators: Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts, Bouic, Brewington, Bryan, Crothers, Dennis, Dick, Dod- son, Gray, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter, Putzel, Ravenscroft, Rohrbaok, Wilkinson, Williams, of Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—25. The Journal of Monday was read and approved. ORDERS. On motion of Mr. Brewington, (by request,) Whereas, The School Laws of the State, Article 77, section 79, of the Code of Maryland provides for publish- ing three thousand copies of the State Report of Public Schools, in those years in which there is no session of the Legislature; and Whereas, The Maryland Code provides that in those years in which the Legislature meets the Public Printer shall print only two thousand copies of the State Report of the Public Schools, and that five hundred of these copies shall be reserved for the Document Book of the Legislature; and |
