A bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 68, of the
Acts of the General Assembly or Maryland, passed at the
January session, in the year 1896, entitled ‘An Act to
repeal chapter 74, of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at the January session, in year
1892,' entitled ‘An Act to add an additional section to
Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land,' title ‘Frederick County,' sub-title ‘Justice of the
Peace and Constables,' to be known as ‘Section 289 A,'
creating a Police Justice of the Peace for Election Dis-
trict No. 2, Frederick county, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to re-enact said section 289 A, as
adopted by said Act of 1892, chapter 74, with amend-
m ents."

Rohrback, Betts and Beasman.

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments chapter 499, of the Acts of 1898, of the
General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws cf Mary-
land, title ‘Testamentary Law,' by adding a new section
thereto, to be known as ‘Section 290 A.'
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled "An Act to refund to George W. Hatch-
enson, of Kent c.ounty, in the State of Maryland, the sum
of $40.94, for money paid by him in error for State taxes
for twenty years from the year 1877 to the year 1896,
inclusive, on private securities, which securities were im-
properly assessed, being paid before January 1st, 1877.
