160 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 29 At 11.20 A. M., On motion of Mr. Bouic, The Senate adjourned. NIGHT SESSION. MONDAY, Jan. 29, 1900. Senate met at 8 P. M. Prayer by the Rev. Father Kautz. Present at roll call the following Senators Messrs. President, Beasmam, Betts, Bouic, Brewington, Crothers, Dennis, Dick, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moses, Peter, Putzel, Ravenscroft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Wil- liams, of Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—20. The Journal of Friday was read and approved. PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS. Mr. Bouic, submitted the following communication: At the regular quarterly meeting of Montgomery county Pomona Grange, No. 7, held at Olney, January, 25, 1900, it was, Resolved, That in all civil suits, the party sweaing out the warrant, shall give bond for the costs of the trial Resolved, That a copy of this resolution be sent to each of our Representatives at Annapolis.
