G-eneral Laws, to come in after section 17, to be known
as ‘Section 17 A, 17 B and 17 C,' and to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 71, of said Article."
Endorsed: "House receded from proposed amendment
and 1)111 passed by yeas and nays."


Mr. Crothers submitted the following message:
By THE SENATE,

April 2, 1900.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message upon the disagreeing
votes of the two Houses on House bill 497, and respect-
fully concur in the appointment of a Committee of Con-
ference.
We have named on the part of the Senate Senators
Moore, Bryan and Dodson.

Secretary.
Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.


On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
The Senate reconsidered its action by which the Jour-
nal of Saturday was approved, and
Ordered stricken from said Journal that entry, that
House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Western
Maryland Trust Company”, as amended,
Had been indefinitely postponed.
Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays as follows:
