On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
Further consideration of said bill was indefinately
postponed.
Mr. Rohrback, from Committee on Insurance and Loans
reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 116, of Ar-
ticle 23, of the Code of Public General Laws of the State
of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with amendments."
Which was read the second time,
Also unfavorably.
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, the second sub-section of section 122, of
Article 23, of the Public General Laws of Maryland, title
‘Corporations,' sub-title ‘Insurance Department."
Which report was adopted.
Also unfavorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendmends, section 126, of Article 23, of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title ‘Corporations,'
sub-title ‘Insurance Department,' said section relating to
the subject of insurance licenses, taxes and fees."
Which report was adopted.
Also unfavorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to add an additional section
to Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
‘Corporations,' sub-title ‘Insurance Department,' to be
known as ‘Section 1266 of said Act,' said additional sec-
tion being intended to prevent re-insurance in companies
not authorized to transact business in this State."

Mr. Applegarth, from Committee on Chesapeake Bay
and Tributaries, reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to prevent the use of purse
net in the waters of Chesapeake Bay, east of a line
drawn from Handie's Point in Kent county to Ricketts'
