Mr. Betts, from Select Committee, reported favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 265, 271, of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Washington County,' sub-title ‘Justices of the Peace and Constables,' and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to add new sections td said Article 22. to be desig- nated as sections 265 A, 265 B, 265 C, 265 D, 265 B, 265 F, 265 G, 265 H, 265 I, 265 J.'" Which was read the second time. Mr. Moses, from Select Committee., reported favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to provide a special fund as authorized by chapter 123, section 2, Of The Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, Session 1898, title ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘General Powers,' sub -title ‘Police,' and to care for and regulate the distribution of said fund." Which was read the second time. Also favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 538, of Article 4. of Public Local Laws, entitled ‘City of Balti- more,' sub-title ‘Inspectors, Weights and Measures.' sub- division ‘Coal,' as amended and re-enacted by chapter 123, of the Acts of 1898, and to re-enact the same with amendments."
