House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 46 B, of Article 1, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title ‘Allegany County,' sub-title
‘Cumberland,' as said section was re-enacted by chapter
324 of the Acts of 1898."
Which was read the second time.

Also favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to extend the corporate
limits of the city of Cumberland, Maryland”

Which was read the second time.
Mr. Bryan, from Select Committee, reported unfavor-
ably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 211, of
Article 4, entitled ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Charter,'
of the Acts of 1898, chapter 123, and re enact the follow-
ing in lieu thereof."

Which report was adopted.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore, to issue its certificate of stock
to an amount not exceeding $5,000,000 for the purpose of
providing the money to pay at the time of doing the
work, the portion of the costs and expenses of grading,
paving and kerhiug the streets, lanes and alleys of the
city of Baltimore, assessable upon the property benefitted
thereby, and for the re-imbursement of the city of Bal-
timore in respect thereto, out of the money derived from
said assessments."

889, inclusive, of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Miscellaneous
