Mr. Bryan, from Committee on Militia, reported favor-
ably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sertions 8, 9, 12,
13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 31, 32, 34 and 36 of Art-
icle 65 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia”
as re-enacted by chapter 89 of the Acts of Assembly of
1896, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to
add additional sections to said Article 65, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title ‘Militia,' as re-enacted by
chapter 89, of the Acts of Assembly of 1896, and by this
Act to he knowii and designated as ‘Sections 14 A, 50,
51, 52 and 53.'
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Bryan, fr6m Committee on Library, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled "An Act to secure to the Mercantile
Library of Talbot county, the use of a set of the Archives
of Maryland as published by the Maryland Historical
Society."
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Applegarth, from Committee on Roads and High-
ways, reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to establish a Board of
State Side-path Commissioners, and to provide revenue
for the repair and construction of sidepaths for bicycles
and protect the said paths from injury and trespassers."
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Rohrback, from Committee on Railroads and
Canals, reported favorably,
Senate Joint Resolutions authorizing and directing the
Board of Public Works to take such steps as they, after
consultation with the Attorney General, shall deem
necessary to enforce the decree passed by the Circuit
Court for Washington county, in equity, affirmed on
appeal for the sale of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal."

Loans, reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
