Which report was adopted. Also, favorably, Senate bill No. 247. entitled "An Act relative to the participation of the State of Maryland in the Pan-Amer- ican Exposition to be held in the city of Buffalo, New York State, in the year 1901." Which was read the second time and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Also unfavorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 2, of chapter 310, of the Acts of 1892, entitled an Act prescribing the regulations and conditions upon which the Board of Public Works shall sell the State's interest in all works of internal improve- ment, and also the State's interest in auy banking corpo- ration, as authorized by section 3, of Article 12, of the Constitution, as proposed to be amended by the Act of 1890, chapter 362, and adopted by the people at the gen- eral election on November 3d, 1891, and to appropriate a sum of money for carrying this Act into effect." Which report was adopted. Also favorably, with proposed amendment, House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of money to defray the expenses of a Joint Committee to define and establish the boundary line between the State of Maryland and the State of Virginia, along the Potomac river." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. In line 6 of section 1 of original bill, strike the words "one thousand," and insert the words "seven hundred and fifty."
