Which report was adopted. Also, favorably, the following order: Ordered, That the President, Secretary of the Senate: Journal Clerk and Reading Clerk and members of the Engrossing Committee and Clerk severally for their ser- vices in engrossing, preparing and enrolling and signing bills in the recess of the General Assembly oe paid the same compensation as was allowed for the same services at the last session of the General Assembly; that the President of the Senate and the Chairman of the Engrossing Com- mittee designate the clerks to be employed and that said clerks receive the same compensation as hereby allowed the members of the committee, the same being $100 each. Which was adopted. Also, unfavorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 688 A, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Licenses,' as said section was en- acted by chapter 505 of the Acts of 1898." Which report was adopted, Also unfavorably the following order Ordered, That James A. Hardesty and Charles Tucker be paid the sum of $1.50 each per day for cleaning the lobby, cloak rooms and corridors during the session of 1900. Which report was adopted.
