corporate the George's Creek Mining Company, as

Assembly, passed at the adjourned May session 1836
thereof, chapter 382, entitled ‘An Act to incorporate the
George's Creek Mining Company, whereby among other
things the name of said company was changed to the
George's Creek Coal and Iron Company, by adding cer-
tain additional sections thereto, enlarging the corporate
powers of said company and providing for the appoint.
