NIGHT SESSION.

FRIDAY, March 30th, 1900.

The Senate reumed session at 8 P. M.

Present at roll call the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Applegarth, Baker, Beasman, Betts,.
Bouic, Brewington, Bryan, Crothers, Dennis, Dick, Dod-
son, Gray, Kirwan, Marsh, Messick, Moore, Moses, Peter,
Putzel, Ravenscroft, Rohrback, Wilkinson, Williams, of
Harford, Williams, of Anne Arundel—25.


ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Baker, it was
Ordered, That Wm. J. C. Dulany Co. be paid $25 for
one rolling top desk for the use of the Secretary of the
Maryland Senate.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.


Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, submitted the follow-
ing message:

BY THE SENATE,

March 30th, 1900.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message requesting the return
of Senate bill No. 245, local, entitled "An Act to add a
new section to the local Code of Anne Arundel county,
sub-title ‘Gaming,' and we herewith return said bill."

ALFRED RITTER,

Secretary.
Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.
