Also, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments chapter 278 of the Acts of 1896, enti- tled ‘An Act to confirm and amend the charter of the Cherry Hill, Elkton and Chesapeake City Electric Rail- way Company of Cecil county." Mr. Crothers moved that the Rules be suspended and. said bill put upon its second reading. The Rules were suspended (two-thirds of the Senators- voting in the affirmative), by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Marsh, Applegarth, Messick, Betts, Moore, Bouic, Moses, Brewington, Peter, Crothers, Putzel, Dick. Ravenscroft, Dodson, Rohrback, Gray, Williams, of Har., Kirwan, Williams, of A. A., —20. NEGATIVE—None. And the bill was read the second time. Also, House Joint Resolution regarding the Chicamaugua and Chattanooga National Park Commission." Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays." Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Federal Relations. Also, House bill entitled "An Act to sanction a transfer of a bequest in the last will and testament of Or. John Gunby, late of Worcester county, by the trustees or committee of the McKennie Memorial Church of Worcester county, to the trustees or committee of the Gunby Presbyterian. |
