Mr. Crothers, from the Committee on Finance, report- ed favorably, Senate bill No. 47, entitled "An Act to add additional sections to Article 41, of the Cod.e of Public General Laws, title ‘Governor,' to he known as ‘Sections 25 and 26,' and to follow section 24." Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Mr. Moore, from the Committee on Corporations, re- ported favorably, Senate bill No. 27, entitled "An Act to repeal section 21, of chapter 323, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January Session, 1860, enti- tled an Act to incorporate a company to build a turnpike road from the Georgetown turnpike to the public road leading from Adamstown to Greenfield Mills, and to re- enact said section with amendments, so as to read as fol- lows." Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Also favorably, Senate bill No. 37. entitled "An Act to amend an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, 1898, chapter 259, entitled an Act to in- corporate the Real Estate Trust Company, so that the corporace title of said corporation shall hereafter be Colonial Trust Company." Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Mr. Moore, from Committee on Corporations, reported favorably, Senate bill No. 38, entitled "An Act to repeal and re- enact with amendments, section 9 A, of chapter 381, of the Acts of Assembly, passed January session, 1888, en— titled ‘An Act to amend the charter of the Agricultural and Mechanical Association of Washington county." |
