Senate bill No. 257, entitled "An Act to establish and
promote the industry of oyster culture in the State of
Maryland."
Which report was adopted.
Mr. Moore, from Committee on Corporations, reported
unfavorably,
Senate bill No. 236, entitled "An Act to add a new
section to Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws,
title ‘Corporations,' sub-title ‘Railroad Companies,' to
-come in after section 204 B, and to he known as ‘Section
204 C, relating to the abandonment by railroad com-
panies of their line or lines of road, or parts thereof."
Which report was adopted.
Also favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the trustees
of the Baltimore Annual Conference of the Colored
Methodist Protestant Church."
Which was read the second time.
Also favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and empower
the Druid Ridge Cemetery Company of Baltimore county,
to purchase, hold or use for the purposes of burial, two
hundred acres of landin said county, and to perpetuate
its charter."
Which was read the second time.
Also favorably, with proposed amendment,
House bill entitled "A-n Act to incorporate the Patapsco
Investment, Guaranty Title and Trust Company."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At the end of section 1, add the following:
"The office of the company shall be in Baltimore city,
Maryland."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read the second time.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize certain
Mutual Fire Insurance Companies of the State of Mary-
land, to re-insure in other companines the whole or part
of risks assumed by said Mutual Fire Insurance Com-
panies."
