House bill entitled "An Act to prevent the destruc-
tion of trout in the Castleman river and the streams that
flow into the Castleman river in Garrett county. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Duncan, from Select Committee, reported unfav-
orably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for fixing license
and penalties for hucksters, hawkers, peddlers, dealers,
brokers or middlemen of unbaled hay, unbaled straw and
ear corn by the wagon load in Baltimore city. "

Mr. Wolfe moved to substitute bill for unfavorable re-
port.

Which motion was adopted.

Which was read a first time.

Also favorably, from Select Committee,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 6, of Ar-
ticle 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, title 'Garrett County, ' sub-title 'Intoxicating
Liquors, ' as enacted by the laws of 1890, chapter 610,
and to re-enact the same with amendments. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Choate, from Select Committee, reported unfavor-
ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the issuing of
any license for the sale of spirituous or ferment ed liquors
or lager beer within one mile of the junction of Morris
and Frank avenues, in the village of Lutherville, Balti-
more county, and to prevent the sale of intoxicating
drinks within the above described limits. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 27, of the Public General Laws, title 'Crimes and
Punishments, sub-title 'Embezzling Property and Writ-
ings, 'to come in after section 74, and to be known as
'Section 74 A. ' and said section to refer to insurance
premiums. "
