On motion of Mr. Robinson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the
issuance of a license to sell intoxicating liquors at the
Cabin John Bridge Hotel, in Montgomery county, Mary-
land. "

On motion of Mr. Duncan,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 211, of
Article 4, entitled 'City of Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Charter, '
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, as en-
acted by the Acts of 1898, chapter 123. "

Mr. Staley, from Judiciary Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 14, of
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Testamentary Law, ' sub-title 'Administration, '
and to re-enact the same with amendments "

Which was read a first time.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 77 of the
Code of Public General Laws, of Maryland, title 'Public
Education, ' sub-title 'Teacher's, ' by adding a new section
thereto, to be known as 'Section 48 A, ' and to follow
after section 48 of said Article. "

Mr. Lehmayer, from Judiciary Committee, reported
unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 279 of Article 93, of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland. "
