Mr. Collins, from Committee on Claims, reported fa-
vorably,

House bill entitled ''An Act to provide for a State sub-
scription to Higgins' Laws of Maryland, relating to in-
toxicating liquors. "

Mr. Knott, from Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend the, char-
ter of the American Banking and Trust Company of
Baltimore city, and to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 3, of chapter 252, of the Arts of 1894, in-
corporating said company under the name of the Amer-
ican Banking and Trust Company of Baltimore city, and
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-section 2,
of section 1, of chapter 41, of the Acts of 1896, amend-
ing the charter of said company, and changing its name
to that of 'The American Banking and Trust Company of
Baltimore City, ' and to increase the capital stock of said
company, and to enlarge the powers of its officers. "

Mr. Norris, of Carroll, from Committee on Hygiene'
reported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 242, of Article 27, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled 'Crimes and Punishments, '
sub-title 'Juries, ' and to add an additional section thereto
to be known as 'Section 242 A. ' "
