chapter 613, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its January session on A. D., 1890. "
On motion of Mr. Waller,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
of the General Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts,
bequests and devises contained in the last will and testa-
ment of Willie F. Hooper, late of Wicomico county. "
On motion of Mr. Curtis,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board
of Police Commissioners of Baltimore city to increase the
pension of John Davis, a retired policeman of the police
force of Baltimore city. "
On motion of Mr. Duncan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to give the assent of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of Moses
Kech in his last will to the Baltimore Bicken Cholin He-
brew Friendship Congregation.
On motion of Mr. Stewart, (by request, )
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 54, of
the Code of Public General Laws, by adding an addi-
tional section thereto, to follow section 46, of said Arti-
cle, and to be designated as 'Section 46 A. ' "
On motion of Mr. Duncan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, as repealed
and re-enacted by the Act of 1898, chapter 123, title
'City of Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Miscellaneous Local Laws, '
to come in after section 321, and to be known as 'Section
321 A. '"
On motion of Mr. Robinson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act providing for the selec-
tion of candidates by popular vote and relating to elec-
tions. '
