LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Scrimger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations,
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Trustees of the Baltimore Annual Conference of the Col-
ored Methodist Protestant Church. "
On motion of Mr. Norris, of Kent,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Game and
Fish, to introduce a bill relating to the killing of foxes
whilst being pursued by dogs and huntsman. "
On motion of Mr. Johnson,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to enable the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to appropriate money for
the relief of the Social Settlement Association of Balti-
more city. "
On motion of Mr. Long,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An. Act to amend the charter
of and to grant certain additional powers and privileges
to the Hagerstown and Frederick Railway Company, a
corporation duly incorporated under and in accordance
with the provisions of Article 23 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, so as to confer upon said
railway company the right and power to use electricity
as a motive power instead of steam; to charge such com-
pensation for hauling passengers, parcels, packages and
freight, as the board of directors may from time to time
determine, and to borrow money, issue bonds and secure
the payment of the same.
