Code of Public Local Laws for Queen Anne's county to
build a 'Water Closet and Lavatory' for said county, to
provide means for that purpose. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to require the County
Commissioners of Talbot County to pay annually to the
Commissioners of St. Michael's and the Commissioners of
Trappe, a certain portion of tax paid or taxed upon the
property within the limits of the town of St. Michael's. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out "one hundred" and insert "fifty. "

The bill, as amended, was read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to pay David N. Hemming
for services rendered to the State of Maryland, in prose-
cuting the case of the State of Maryland vs. Daniel H.
Lynn, in the Circuit Court for Carroll county, and in the
Court of Appeals of Maryland. "

grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to provide additional rev-
enue for the State of Maryland, by imposing a license
fee upon the officers, agents, representatives, servants,
employees of foreign breweries doing business in this
State. "

House bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the riding of
bicycles, or other vehicles of that description, upon the
sidewalks or footpaths of public roads in Howard
county. "

"And be it enacted, That any person riding or pro-
pelling any bicycle or other vehicle of that description
at night, shall use a lighted lamp or lantern properly
placed on said bicycle or other vehicle of that descrip-
tion. Any person violating the provisions of this section
