House bill entitled "An Act to change the name of the
Mortgage and Trust Company, incorporated by chapter
263, of the Acts of 1898, entitled 'An Act to incorporate
the Mortgage and Trust Company to that of 'The Stan-
dard Trust Company, ' and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 13, of said chapter, subjecting said
company to certain provisions and authorizing it to unite
-with any other like company. ' "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to confirm and enlarge the
powers and authority of the Municipal Art Society of
Baltimore city, a corporation duly incorporated under
the provisions of Article 23, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Princess
Anne and Deal's Island Light, Power and Railway Com-
pany, and to declare its rights, privileges, powers and
franchises. " '

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 41, section 3, amend by striking out the word
"county, " and insert in lieu thereof the word "town. "

dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

enlarge the powers and amend the charter of the West-
minster Water Company of Westminster, Md., duly in-
corporated under the General Laws of this States. "

House bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the laying of
railway tracks upon Lombard street, between Patterson
Park avenue and Exeter street, in the city of Baltimore,
