Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to sanction the bequests
to Liberty Methodist Protestant Church, and to the
Trustees of the Maryland Annual Conference of the
Methodist Protestant Church under the will of Elisha
W. Andrews, late of Caroline county, deceased. "
On motion of Mr. Truitt, of Balto, county,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to divide the Ninth
Election District of Baltimore county into two election
districts. "
On motion of Mr. King, (by request)
Leave was granted to the St. Mary's county delegation
and Mr. Anderson, of Worcester, to introduce a bill en-
titled "An Act to amend the Code of Public Local Laws
title 'St. Mary's County, ' sub-title 'County Commissioners, '
by adding a new section to follow section 28, and to be
known as 'Section 28 A. ' "
On motion of Mr. Waters,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to prohibit pools,
trusts, monopolies and conspiracies to control business
prices of Articles; to permit the formation or operation
of pools, trusts, monopolies and combinations of charters
of corporations that violate the terms of this Act, and to
authorize the institution of prosecutions and suits there-
for. "
On motion of Mr. Graeff,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act giving the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland, to a certain legacy
bequeathed by Alexander McFarren, late of the city of
Cumberland, Allegany county, deceased, to the trustees
of the Presbyterian Congregation of Allegany county, in
the State of Maryland. "
