it possible for the manufacturer of oleomargarine, and
furnish great facilities to them in the perpetration of
frauds upon consumers of their product, and would be in
direct opposition to the agricultural and dairy interest of
this State, therefore submit this minority report and
trust it may be adopted.

adopted.

Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably, with proposed amendments.

House bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges,
enlarge the powers, and amend the charter of the Union
Bridge Banking company of Carroll county, Maryland,
so as to enable in to loan money on or purchase prom-
issory notes, bill obligatory or other evidences of debt. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend by striking out the whole of "Section 2" and
substitute the following:

"Sec. 2. And be it further enacted that the stockhold-
ers of said company shall be liable to the amount of their
respective share or shares of stocks in said company for
all its debts and liabilities upon note, bill or otherwise, "

Sec. 3. And be it enacted that this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Trust and Deposit Company. "
