The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Alle-
gany County, ' sub-title 'City of Cumberland, ' under the
new sub-title 'Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes, '
to be numbered 'Section 96 A, ' and to follow section 96,
Article 1. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend section 1, by adding at the, end of line 2, after
the word "Law, " before the word "sub-title"' the words
"Title Allegany County. "

Which was concurred in.

Amend by striking out the words "a new section" in
line 1, and inserting the words "two new sections. "

Which was concurred in.

Amend title by striking out all after the word "num-
bered" in the third line and inserting sections 96 A and
96 B, and to follow section 96. "

Amend section 1 by striking out the words "a new sec-
tion" in line 1, and inserting "two new sections. "

Amend section 1, line 2, by striking out the word "is, "
and inserting "are. "
