'City of Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Charter, ' sub-title 'General
Powers, ' sub-title 'Police, ' and to care for and regulate
the distribution of said fund. "

On motion of Mr. Truitt, of Baltimore county,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 252,
of the Acts of 1896, entitled 'An Act to prohibit the sale
of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer within
half a mile of the junction of Gettings Avenue and Belona
Avenue, in Baltimore county. "

On motion of Mr. Choate,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-en-
act with amendments sections 4, 6, 10 and 16 of chapter
334, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January session in the year 1890, entitled
'An Act to regulate the sale and the granting of license
for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in Balti-
more county; ' and also to repeal chapter 436 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Jan-
uary session, in the year 1896, amendatory thereto; and
also to add 3 new sections to said chapter 334 of said
Acts of 1890, entitled as aforesaid, to come in after sec-
tions 21, and to be designated as 'Sections 21 A, 21 B and
21 C, respectively. '"

On motion of Mr. Sanford,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
. introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore, "
sub-title 'Sabbath, ' by adding thereto certain new sec-
tions, to follow immediately after section 807, and to be
numbered '807 A, 807 B and 807 C. ' "

On motion of Mr. Finzel,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to grant certain bequests
to religious corporations. "

Mr. Duncan moved that the hall of the House of Rep-
resentatives be given to the Temperance Committee at
10 o'clock to-morrow.
