On motion of Mr. Walsh, it was

Ordered, That Samuel Hoffacker be excused from at-
tendance at to-night's session.

On motion of Mr. Ditty, it was

Ordered, That Messrs. Krems and Phelps be excused
from to-night's session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Biggs, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Wolfinger be excused from attend-
ance at this session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Disharoon, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Ward be excused from to-night's
session on account of business.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to refund to Samuel
Claggett a sum of money paid in error to the State Treas-
urer. "

On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted to the Harford county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to consolidate the
corporations known as the Trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Church called 'Eden Chapel, ' and the William
Watters Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church of Har-
ford county, and to enlarge the powers of the consoli-
dated company. "

On motion of Mr. Siegmund,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add an additional
section to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title 'City of Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Miscellaneous Local
Laws, ' to follow immediately after section 796, to be
known as 'Section 796 A, ' and to regulate the charge for
the conveyance of school children to and from school by
the several passenger street railways in the city of Bal-
timore. ' "
