procure copies of all wills now found in his office, but
properly belonging there, and have same bound and
indexed. "
On motion of Mr. Simmons,
Leave was granted to the Calvert county delegation
and Mr. Hopkins, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to
repeal section 41, of Article 5, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled 'Calvert County, ' sub-title 'Circuit
Court, ' and to re-enact the same with amendments. "
On motion of Mr. King, (by request\
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 201 of Article 36 of the Code
of Public General Laws, title 'Chancery. ' "
On motion of Mr. Curtis,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal a portion of
section 25 of the new chart er of Baltimore city, in regard
to removals of the officials of the said city by the Mayor
at his pleasure, and to amend the same. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend section 34, of
the new charter of Baltimore city, by enacting that here-
after the appointees to office under the city comptroller
shall not be subject to the written approval of the mayor
of said city "
