Legislature to the gifts, devises and bequests to divers
charitable and religious institutions named in the last
will and testament of Dodaise Dode, late of Baltimore
city, deceased, subject to the conditions! and limitations
and for the purposes in said will mentioned and lo pre-
vent any failure of the testamentary purposes of the said
Dodaise Dode by reason of uncertainty or misdescription
of any of said beneficiaries. "

Also favorably, with proposed amendments,

House bill entitled "An Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 24, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled 'Crimes and Punishments, ' to come in after 208,
sub-title 'Minors Care and Protection of, ' arid to be known
as 'Section 208 A. ' "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In line 12, after the word "child, " strike out the word
"of, " and insert in lieu thereof the word "under. "

After the"'word "purposes, " in line 13, strike out the
word "last, " and insert in lieu thereof the word "herein. "

Strike out the words "or pauper, " in line 10, after the
word "mendicant. "

The report of the Committee on Elections in the con-
tested election case of Darr vs. Merrick.

Mr. Robinson moved that the matter be recommitted
to the Committee on Elections.

Which motion prevailed.

Mr. Norris, from the Committee on Hygiene, reported
favorably, with amendments,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 52 and
61, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled 'Health'
sub-title 'Practitioners of. Medicine' to repeal altogether
sections 49, 51 and 62, of said Article, and to add addi-
tional sections thereto, to be designated as 'Sections 40
A, 61 A and 64. '"
