of medicine and surgery; to create State Boards of Med-
ical Examiners, and to regulate the fees and emoluments
thereof; to prevent the practice of medicine and surgery
by unauthorized persons; and to provide for the trial and
punishment of violators of the provisions of this Act
by fine or imprisonment or both; and to repeal and
re-enact with additions and amendments, sections 39,
40, 41, 45, 49, 53, 56, 58 and 59, of Article 43 of the Code
of Public General Laws, title 'Health, ' sub-title 'Practi-
tioner of Medicine, ' and to repeal all laws or parts of
laws in conflict or inconsistent with this Act, and to add
additional sections thereto, to be designated as 'Sections
39, 39 A, 40, 41, 45, 49, 58 and 59. '"

On motion of Mr. Real,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to sanction the devises
and bequests contained in the last will and testament of
Patrick Mohan, late of Baltimore city, deceased, to St.
Agnes' Hospital, of the city of Baltimore, School Sisters
of Notre Dame in the city of Baltimore, and St. Mary's
Female Orphan Asylum, of Baltimore. "

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to change the name
of the Mortgage and Trust Company, incorporated by
chapter 263 of the Acts of 1898, entitled 'An Act to in-
corporate the Mortgage and Trust Company, to that of
the Standard Trust Company, and to repeal and re enact
with amendments section 13 of said chapter, subjecting
said company to certain provisions and authorizing it to
unite with any other like company. '"

On motion of Mr. Jeffers,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to create a Levy Court
for Baltimore county. "

On motion of Mr. Bennett,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to pay Samuel P. Wil-
son, late tax collector for the first collection district of
Wicomico county, a sum of money erroneously paid by
him into the State Treasury. "
