House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 25, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'County Commissioners' sub-title 'Draining Lands, ' to
follow after section 49, and to the numbered 49 A. "
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 3, of title, after the word lands, insert the fol-
lowing, "in so far as the same applies to Dorchester
county. "

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended, was read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 23, 24 and 29, of chapter 189, of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January session of the year 1892, entitled "An Act to re-
peal sections 202 to 215, both inclusive, of Article 2-i, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Wor-
cester County, ' sub-title 'Pocomoke, ' and to re-enact the
same with amendments, and also to add thereto six ad-
ditional sections to be known as 'Sections 23 A, 26 A, 26
B, 29 A, 29 B and 29 C. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to refund to John S.
Berry, executor, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
by him to Isaac P. Cook, the late Register of Wills for
Baltimore city, as collateral inheritance tax. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 1, lines 3 and 4, strike out the figures
"$30. 16" with interest thereon, and insert the figures
"$19. 58. "

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended, was read a second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize, empower and
direct the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne
to issue coupon bonds, and to appropriate the proceeds
arising from the sale thereof, towards providing addi-
tional protection, and apparatus for the protection of the
property in the town of Princess Anne against damage
and destruction by fire, and for the public convenience
