Mr. Walsh submitted the following
JOINT RESOLUTION.
Joint Resolution directing the State Librarian to fur-
nish the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Carroll county for
the use of the Circuit Court for said county with certain
Maryland reports.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the State Librarian be and she is hereby authorized and
directed to furnish the clerk of the Circuit Court for
Carroll county, for the use of said Court, the following
books: Maryland Reports Nos. 3, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,
17, 18, 20, 27, 31, 33, 34, 38, 42 51, 59, 65, 70, 71, 76, 79,
80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 86 and 87.

Library.
Mr. Truitt, of Baltimore county, submitted the follow-
ing message to the Senate:

Gentlemen of the Senate:
The House of Delegates having concurred in amend-
ments Nos. 1 and 2, proposed by the Senate of the House
bill local No. 232, entitled "An Act to authorize and em-
power the county commissioners of Baltimore county to
change the grade of public road in the thirteenth dis-
trict of said county, commonly known as the 'Washing-
ton Turnpike Road, ' at and near the place where the
same crosses the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad at
grade, for the purpose of doing away with such grade
crossing, and to provide for the construction of the
bridge or bridges that may be made necessary thereby,
has refused to concur in proposed amendments Nos. 3
and 4 to said House bill. We respectfully request your
