tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections 265, 271 and 272, of Article 22, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington County, "
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables, " and to
re-enact the same sections with amendments, and to add
new sections to said Article 22, to be designated as sec-
tions 265 A, 265 B, 265 R, 265 D, 265 E, 265 F, 265 G,
271 A, 271 B, and 272 A. "

On motion of Mr. Long,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary,
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add additional
section to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments, " to be known as
"Section 478 A, 478 B, 478 C, 478 D and 478 E. "

On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted the Harford county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled. an Act to repeal section 263
of Article 13, of the Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, title "Harford County, " sub-title "Tomatoes, "
and re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

The bill introduced on January 9th, relating to the
preservation of the battle flags carried by the Maryland
Regiments in the Civil War was taken from the Commit-
tee on Militia and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

The Speaker announced the following
