On motion of Mr. Wilson, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Finzel, of Garrett, be excused for
being absent on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Merrick, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Contee and Mr. Perkins be excused
from-to-night's session, an account of important busi-
ness.

On motion of Mr. Bennett, it was

Ordered, That Jno. W. Waller be excused from to-
night's session on account of business.

Also,

Ordered, That Thos. S. Roberts be excused from to-
night's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Gibson, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Simmons be excused from attend-
ance at to-night's session on account of business.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Johnson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board
of Police Commissioners of Baltimore city, to increase
the pension of Williams H. Mills, a retired policeman of
the police force of Baltimore city. "

On motion of Mr. Bramble,

Leave was granted to Committee on Ways and Means,
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to accurately re-es-
tablish the boundaryline between the State of Maryland
and the State of Pennsylvania, commonly called 'Mason
and Dixon's Line, ' and to re-mark the same, wherever
necessary, with suitable monuments, and to make an ap-
propriation therefor. '"

On motion of Mr. Bramble,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session, 1898, chapter 259, entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Real Estate Trust Company, " so that the corporate
