The bill, as amended, was read a second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and empower
the Druid Ridge Cemetery of Baltimore county to pur-
chase, hold or use for the purpose of burial. 200 acres of
"land in said county, and to perpetuate its charter. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of
the Institute of Mission Helpers of Baltimore city, a
corporation heretofore formed under the General Laws
of this State, and to regulate the mode of election of of-
ficers and members of the said corporation. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter and
enlarge the powers of the St. Dennis Mutual Savings and
Loan Association of Baltimore county, so as to enable it
to lend money on promissory notes and bills obligatory. "

House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of
the Home of All Saints Sisters of the Poor, of Baltimore
city. "

House bill entitled 'An Act to repeal and re-enact
section 505, of chapter 123, of the Act passed January
session 1898. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

"Every employer of females in any mercantile and
manufacturing establishment in the city of Baltimore
must provide and maintain suitable seats for the use of
such employees. A person is deemed not to maintain
suitable seats for the use of female employees, unless he
