corporate, existing by virtue of the Act of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1825, chapter 55, and the Acts
supplementary thereto or amendatory thereof, by pro-
viding for the reduction of the number of directors of
said company, fixed by the Act of 1892, chapter 143, sec-
tion 5, sub-section 13, and also to ratify and approve the
increase heretofore made by the stockholders of the
company in the number and par value of the shares of
capital stock of said corporation in pursuance of section
4, sub-section 2, of said last mentioned Act. "
