On motion of Mr. Duncan,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to add an additional section to Article 4, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title,
"Clerks of Law Courts at Baltimore City, " to be desig-
nated as "Section 218 A, " and to follow section 218.

Referred to the Committee on Judiciary, hereafter to
be appointed.

On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to refund to John W. Cole, late collector of taxes for the
3rd Election District of Harford county, a sum of money
paid in error into the Treasury of the State of Maryland.

Referred to the Committee on Claims, hereafter to be
appointed.

Also,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to refund to Charles E. Jeffery, late collector of taxes for
the 3rd Election District of Harford county, a sum of
money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Referred to the Committee on Claims, hereafter to be
appointed.

On motion Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to declare the sanction of the General Assembly of
Maryland, to the grant of a parcel of land described in
a deed from Sarah J. Morris to the Trustees of Mount
Zion Methodist Episcopal Church of Harford county,
dated the 3rd day of January, 1900, and recorded among
the Land Records of Harford county, in Liber W. S. F.
No. 98, folio 378.

Referred to the Committee on Judiciary, hereafter to
be appointed.

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to repeal sections 740, and 741, of Article 4, Public Local
Laws, entitled "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Police
Commissioners, " as amended and re-enacted by chapter
123, of the Acts of 1898, and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to add an additional section thereto. "
