Mr. Merrick, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 101 and
103, of Article 17, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of
Maryland, title 'Prince George's County, ' sub-title 'County
Commissioners, ' as amended by the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed in the year 1898, chapter
222, and re-enact the said sections hereby repealed with
amendments. "

Also, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 179, of Article 17, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled 'Prince George's
County, ' sub-title 'Jurors, ' as amended by the Acts of
1898, chapter 433. "

Mr. Linthicum, from the Dorchester county delegation,
reported favorably, with proposed amendments,

House bill entitled -'An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Dorchester county to borrow money
on the credit of the county for the purpose of construct-
ing a bridge across the northwest fork of the Nanticoke
river, in said county, at a point called 'Harrison's
Ferry, ' and placing a draw therein, to give their bonds
or bills obligatory for the payment of the same, and to
levy taxes on the assessable property of said county, to
redeem said bonds or bills obligatory, and to pay the in-
terest thereon. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED,

Strike out the words "five thousand" whenever they
occur, and insert in lieu thereof the words "two thous-
and. "

Strike out all of section 4.
