to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for a tax
collector for the town of Frostburg. "

On motion of Mr. Walsh,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
bequest of Sarah A. Formwalt, late of Carroll county, de-
ceased, to the Lutheran Trustees of Emmanuel (commonly
called 'Baust's') Church in Carroll county, Maryland. "
On motion of Mr. Scrimger, (by request, )

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to abolish water rates
in the city of Baltimore. "

On motion of Mr. Walsh,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to grant the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of
Rachel Satchel Tankerd, to the Methodist Episcopal
Church, on Union street, in Westminster. "
On motion of Mr. Ditty,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel county dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to 'Tax
Dogs. ' "

On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 1, 2,
3, 10, 16, 17, 20, 31, 32 and 37, of Article 59, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title 'Lunatics and Insane, ' and
to re-enact the same with amendments, and to add new
sections to said Article to follow section 38, and to be
designated as 'sections 39, 40 and 41. '"
