Leave was granted to the Dorchester county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new section
to Article 29, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'County Commissioners, ' sub-title 'Damaging Lands, ' to
follow after section 49, and to be numbered ' 49 A. '"

On motion of Mr. Wilson,

Leave was granted to the Garrett county delegation
and Mr. Hanson, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to
provide for the floating debt of Oakland, Md. "

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:

Seriate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact,
with amendments, section 2, of chapter 36, of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Janu-
ary session, 1898, relating to the creation of a new elec-
tion district in Garrett county.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Gar-
rett county delegation and Mr. Deets.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne
Arundel county, sub-title 'Annapolis City, " to be num-
bered 'Section 86, ' relating to the encouragement of man-
ufactures in said city. "
