The House resolved itself into a

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
to consider

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the creation,
of a Board of Police Examiners for Baltimore city, to
define and prescribe the duties thereof, and to regulate
appointments to, promotion, reduction in ranks and
transfers in and removals from the police force of said
city, and to repeal all Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent
with this Act, said provisions to be a part of Article 4,
of Public Local Laws, sub-title 'Police Commissioners, '
and to be numbered sections 745 A, 745 B, 745 C, 745 D,
745 E and 745 F. "

The Speaker called Mr. Latrobe to the Chair, when said
bill was considered.

Mr. Duncan submitted the following proposed amend-
ments:
