Ordered, That Mr. Norris, of Kent, be excused from
attendance at this morning's session on account of sick-

On motion of Mr. Walsh, it was

Ordered, That Dr. Norris, of Carroll, be excused from
attendance at to-day's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Proctor, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Mitchell be excused from to-day's

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Sandman,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize and em-
power the County Commissioners of Baltimore county, to
change the grade of the public road in the thirteenth
district of said county, commonly known as the 'Wash-
ington Turnpike Road, ' at and near the place where the
same crosses the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad at grade,
for the purpose of doing away with such grade crossing,
and to provide for the construction of the bridge or
bridges that may be made necessary thereby. "
On motion of Mr. Walsh,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to
certain bequests and Revises in the wills of Margaret
Frey and Rebecca Frey, to the Missionary Society of the
