PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Lancaster presented the petition of D. W. Butler
and other citizens of Charles county, praying for a law
to take off September and ten days from the oyster sea-
son.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Chesapeake Bay and Its Tributaries.
