Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sections 18 and
19, of Article 42, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Habeas Corpus, " sub-title "Procedure in Relation
to Minors. "

Referred to the Committee on Judiciary, hereafter to
be appointed.

Also,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to repeal sections 886 to889 inclusive of Article 4, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore, "
sub-titles "Miscellaneous Local Laws, " "Vagrant Child-
ren, " and to enact certain provisions in lieu thereof.

Referred to Baltimore city delegation.
On motion of Mr. Duncan,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to provide for the creation of a Board of Police Exami-
ners for Baltimore city, to define and prescribe the duties
thereof, and to regulate appointments to, promotions, re-
ductions in rank and transfers in and removals from the
police force of said city, and to repeal all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act, said provisions to be a
part of Article 4, Public Local Laws, sub-title "Police
Commissioners, " and to be numbered sections 745 A,
745 B, 745 C, 745 D, 745 E and 745 F.

Referred to the Committee on Judiciary, hereafter to
be appointed.

On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to repeal section 423. of Article 11 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Frederick county, sub-title "Roads. "
