Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add two additional
sections to Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled 'Crimes and Punishments, ' to provide when
wages are to be paid, and to be arranged under the new
sub-title 'Payment of Wages, ' and to come in after sec-
tion 149 in said Article, and to be known as 'Sections
149 A and 149 B. ' "

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to
sundry gifts, bequests and devises contained in the last
will and testament of certain persons, late of the State of
Maryland, deceased and also to certain gifts, grants,
sales, leases and deeds made by various persons in the
State of Maryland to and for the use and benefit of sun-
dry ministerial persons, religious incorporations, denomi-
nations or sects, and to certain charitable institutions
hereafter named. "
