ported favorably, with proposed amendments, the follow-
ing order:
WHEREAS, The work imposed on the State Printer has
been unprecedentedly large, there having been intro-
duced and priated more bills than have been printed by
any former Legislature, and there being an unusual in-
crease in the pages of the Journal; therefore,
Ordered, That Wm. J. C. Dulany Company, State
Printers, be paid the sum of $1, 200 for printing over five
hundred pages of extra bills and two hundred pages of
Journal, the said sum to be taken out of any money in
the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated
AMENDMENT PROPOSED
By the Ways and Means Committee:
Strike out the words "twelve hundred dollars" and in-
sert "one thousand dollars. "
